Project Overview

Bent Palms on McGregor is a boutique, low-density multifamily residential development by Scott Allan and Allan Development Group (ADG), located at 16540 McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers, Florida. The 27-residence community was conceived as an alternative to high-density apartment living, combining spacious homes with a landscaped, neighborhood-oriented setting.

A Lower-Density Approach to Residential Development

Rather than maximizing the number of apartments on the site, ADG prioritized larger living spaces and shared outdoor amenities. With only 27 residences, the concept was designed to create a more intimate residential environment, encouraging a sense of community while preserving room for landscaping and recreation.

Spacious Homes and Thoughtful Interiors

The residences range from approximately 1,450 to 1,750 square feet and feature 10-foot ceilings. Open-plan kitchens overlook the main living areas and were described with stainless-steel appliances. Durable, dark wood-look flooring was incorporated into ground-floor residences, supporting the community’s pet-friendly positioning.

Community Amenities and Outdoor Living

The development’s lifestyle concept includes a resort-style swimming pool and landscaped park-like gathering areas with hammocks and picnic tables. These outdoor spaces reinforce the project’s emphasis on a relaxed, connected residential experience rather than a conventional high-density apartment layout.

McGregor Boulevard Location

Positioned along McGregor Boulevard near Kelly Greens, Bent Palms benefits from access to the Iona–McGregor area and routes toward Sanibel and Captiva islands, Fort Myers Beach, shopping and recreational destinations. Its setting on the palm-lined corridor complements the project’s residential character.
