Lakeside Storage Suites brings private garage ownership and the ManCave lifestyle together in Southwest Florida. Completed in 2022, this 40-suite development provides dedicated space for prized vehicles, personal collections and recreation. Scott Allan’s involvement extended from concept and design through development, construction and sales. Allan Development Group partnered with Hardy Development Group to deliver the project.

Following the success of Island Storage Suites, Lakeside continued ADG’s focus on purpose-built luxury garage communities. Launch announcements described nearly 80,000 square feet of planned ManCave-style storage space. This is the publicly announced project scale, rather than a verified final building-area measurement.

Location & access

The development is located within the ITEC business park along the Alico Road corridor in Fort Myers, Florida 33913, with convenient access to Interstate 75. The property is reached via Innovation Lane; individual suite listings also use the internal address 16710 Cave Cove. Nearby destinations include Gulf Coast Town Center and Miromar Outlets.

Suite specifications & building features

Marketed suite configurations range from approximately 1,950 to 5,850 square feet. Published specifications include full air conditioning, insulated drywall interiors, LED lighting and oversized 16-by-16-foot electric garage doors. Fire suppression and alarm systems, bathroom plumbing provisions, fenced grounds and gated access are also described in suite marketing.

The generous garage format accommodates collector cars, recreational vehicles, boats and other valued possessions. Interior configurations and equipment vary by suite. Mezzanine additions and customized interiors depend on the individual space, required approvals and association requirements.

A personal ManCave, designed around the owner

Lakeside’s photography illustrates different approaches to the private garage: classic and exotic cars, vehicle lifts, mezzanines, lounge seating, entertainment spaces and custom bars. These are examples of individual owner build-outs, rather than a standard finish package included in every suite.

A luxury car condo can provide room to display a collection, pursue an automotive interest and spend time with friends. Owners can organize their space around practical storage, a workshop, memorabilia or a recreational lounge. The ManCaves concept brings these interests together in a dedicated setting outside the home.

Condominium ownership & development experience

Lakeside consists of 40 individually owned storage condominium suites with an owners association. The project combines private garage ownership with shared community infrastructure. It is presented here as a completed ADG portfolio project; current resale inventory and individual suite specifications require a separate enquiry.
